Introduction by Cal Bailey

Sustainability for NG Bailey means several things.

Firstly, it means that we try to ensure that our activities result in the least possible impact on the environment. This covers a multitude of practises, from minimising carbon emissions to harvesting fresh water from rainfall.

Secondly, sustainability means using materials and techniques that last over time. Our buildings are designed to ensure they will be high quality work spaces for generations to come - ensuring the life of that building.

And thirdly, sustainability means making positive contributions to the local communities in which we operate - using local suppliers for materials where possible, being a responsible and caring employer, and engaging the community in social and charitable projects.
