The carbon footprint of new builds

At NG Bailey we are always mindful that the construction phase of any new building contributes to its carbon footprint.

This is also the stage when raw materials are consumed. Consequently NG Bailey is also focused on using off-site manufacturing processes.

Although involved in prefabrication since 2000, in 2006 NG Bailey saw the opportunity to expand its work in the field of this modern method of construction, opening a state-of-the-art facility - Bailey Off-Site - in Bradford.

Following an investment of £5 million, the 53,500 sq ft factory offers the company a platform in which to provide a bespoke solution that not only doubles productivity, but addresses issues such as congestion, health and safety and waste, whilst speeding up the overall construction process.
